In my role as SENDCo, I oversee the initial identification, provision, and teaching and learning for all children with SEND. I work alongside parents, specialist agencies and other professionals to create plans and targets for our children with SEND to ensure that they are able to progress and excel at Western House Academy. Sarah Gregory - Child and Family Support Worker

As the Child and Family Support Worker, I am able to offer non-educational support to your child and your family in areas such as confidence building, healthy eating, parenting and life skills. I work closely with local and national external agencies who can offer targeted support in a range of different pastoral areas. I am on the playground and visible around the school during the day to get to know your children and support them with issues that may arise and help to resolve them. 

I am always happy to speak with parents so feel free to contact me. I am available on the playground at the end of every day and you can also leave a message with the main school office on 01753 526326 and I will get back to you.
