Reception Sewing Club

Reception Sewing Club was a great success, enjoyed by both children and adults!

The children were able to choose from a selection  of brightly coloured cross stitch patterns, called Binca, accompanied by a range of thread to match.  We learnt how to thread needles, tie knots and use simple running stitch.

Year 3 Sewing Club

Year 3 have been enthusiastic to learn how to sew.  We tried many different types of embroidery stitches and then played around with them to design our own mat.  Our confidence grew with running stitch, back stitch and cross stitch.  We had great fun! Some of us have even started to sew at home
