The Paint by Numbers Club was a great opportunity for the children to recognise the impact and importance of where colour can be placed on a picture. To start with the children used pre drawn examples to practice and towards the end they started to create their own examples and thinking about the best colour choice. Throughout the sessions the children used water colours exclusively. This was an exciting new medium for some of the children and it was a great opportunity to explore how the amount of water used can have such an impact on the overall effect.
