At Western House Academy, we believe that every opportunity shapes a life. Pupil leadership is an important part of our vision, giving children meaningful opportunities to have a voice, take responsibility and make a positive difference to their school and wider community.

Linked closely to our four pillars of Values, Knowledge, Experience and Equality, our leadership opportunities help children develop confidence, teamwork, communication and responsibility while putting our school values into action.

From Head Pupils and School Council to Values Ambassadors, Reading Ambassadors, Sports Leaders and our Year 6 Leave a Legacy initiative, pupils are encouraged to contribute ideas, represent others and help shape life at Western House.

We don't simply want our children to attend their school – we want them to help shape it.
