Dear Mrs Ghosh,
Thank you to you, the teachers and pupils for their very generous donations of items for the foodbank received this morning.  They will make such a difference to the lives of families in Slough.
It was great to meet you all and have the opportunity to see the children's lovely bags.
Thanks again for your support and I wish you a happy end of term!
Kind Regards,

Dear Coral,

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Western House Academy and have learnt so much from the staff and children here. Their love for learning is a joy to see and some of the work I have seen produced is outstanding. Accelerated Reader is a fantastic scheme and I've seen huge improvements in reading. Votes for Schools has been so insightful and some of the children's views on current affairs are very mature.

Year 2 are a wonderful bunch of children and have helped me develop as a teacher, I wish them all lots of luck in their futures and am sure they will go far.

Dear Coral,

I hope this email finds you well,

I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU for letting me come and do my placement at your school. I learnt so much from teaching in Year 4 and seeing the smiling faces and generous hearts made my experience at your school a welcoming one.

Your school has a positive ethos and I can see the children that go to Western House are being built up not just academically but emotionally, socially and culturally too.

Warm regards

I have been fortunate to spend just over four years working with children at Western House Academy.  My role has been focussed upon counselling and mentoring pupils but I have also led assemblies about various issues and delivered some workshops primarily with year 6 children.

WHA has a fantastic and very committed staff team.  One of the things that has struck me about working within the school community is how every individual treats the children. From the brilliant site team, through to Learning Support, teachers and the SLT, the passion for child welfare here is tangible.  The children within the school have character, it has been fantastic being a part of different children’s worlds either personally or within the context of a classroom.  Children are encouraged to be themselves and to embrace their own strengths which will be nurtured within the school.

Whilst a wrestle to make a decision to let go of my role here, I am pleased that I have had the opportunity to be involved within WHA. As noted elsewhere, the Headteacher’s desire is to see the whole child thrive not simply their academic quality. This is a gift that should be exploited!  What a difference I would have had personally at school as a child had I have felt the warmth of this vision.  I look forward to hearing of the continued success of the school community in years to come and wish the whole team well.

Thank you
