Pencil control sheets – can you make sure you use the tripod grip to trace the lines on the zoo animal pages?

Help to peg put the washing – squeezing the pegs with only your index finger and thumb.

Can you help to cut around the animal masks. Choose a couple of your favourites to cut out and wear!

9.30-9.50am

Learning time - Maths

Count the zoo animals on the sheet and select the correct numeral.

(Parents can draw the animals instead of printing.)

Can you order some items by size? Find some different sized teddies and order them from biggest to smallest. (If you would prefer, you can cut out the zoo animals and order those instead).

Use the animal cut outs – or use animals that you have at home (teddies, plastic toys). Can you feed the animals the correct amount of food? (You could use cubes, lego bricks, cornflakes…) Give the zebra 10 Lego bricks etc…

Practise preposition some more: put the elephant on top of something, underneath, in, around, behind, next to, in front of, around… How many can you talk about?

Have a look at the different patterns on zoo animals – can you google some photos and find some animals that have stripes or spots. Can you talk about the patterns.

9.50-10.30am

Creative Time

Follow the recipe for fun spaghetti!

Can you use the word mat to learn the names of all of the zoo animals? Can you match them to any of your toys?

Can you make a paper plate zoo animal?

Have a look at the cone animal print outs – but, don’t print them out! Can you try and make your own with some help?
