Since the lockdown has started, we are at home. Think of one day and write a letter to your teacher (either to Mrs Ghosh, Mrs Khural, Miss Cranfield or Mrs Rolfe) about what you did on that day. Think of:

• A fun/creative activity that you did with your family.
• Did you spend most of your time in the garden?
• Did you help an adult with cooking?
• What games did you play?
• Did you read any books?
• Did you listen to music? Did you sing or dance?
• Did you get up late in the morning? Were you feeling a bit lazy?

Make it as interesting and engaging as you can using adjectives, conjunctions and suffixes.

E.g.:

Dear Mrs Rolfe,

How are you? I am missing school but I am having a good time with my family. Would you like to know about one of my fun days since the lockdown has started?

It was last Saturday when I was still dozing in my comfy bed even at 8 O’clock. My brother knocked on the door, shouting, “Tim, breakfast is ready and we are waiting for you.” Reluctantly, I got out of my cosy bed and plodded downstairs to the dining room. I could see the stack of freshly made pancakes drowned in the yellow maple syrup.  My eyes twinkled. I love pancakes! Do you like pancakes?
