Nursery suggested daily timetable week 14.

week beg Monday 13th July

Continue with the timings on previous timetables if they have been helpful to you and add in the following ‘Learning Times’:

Time

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

Learning time – Fine Motor

Pencil control patterns – join the dots to complete the patterns.

If you are going to reception in September – can you practise writing your name in lowercase letters (not CAPITAL LETTERS). If you are staying in Nursery in September – can you trace over your name (get an adult to write it with a highlighter first).

Cut out the vegetables ready to order by size later! Get an adult to draw a circle around each vegetable for you to cut as the vegetables will be quite tricky to cut around otherwise!

Cut out the foods and ‘fill the tummy’ with healthy food! Ask an adult to cut separate the pictures to make them easier for you to cut out.

Choose one of the fine motor activities from the ideas cards (that were included previously) that you can do using resources you have at home.

Learning time – Maths

Complete the ‘Food Patterns’ – cut out the sheet provided or make your own repeating patterns using fruits and vegetables that you have at home.

Choose the 10 or 20 ‘I spy and count’ and see if you can find all of the vegetables on the sheet. Circle them as you count them to make it easier.

Order the vegetables by size. Or, if you don’t want to print the pictures, you could order some of your toys.

Ask an adult to hide the number cards (0-10) around the room. Can you find them and the order them? Or, can you try and hunt them out in the correct order?

Match the number cards from yesterday to the correct number of objects. Pick a card at random and count out that many items (you can use any items you want to count).

Creative Time

Healthy and unhealthy food sorting. Can you sort the pictures into the correct categories?

Use pictures from magazines to create a dinner on the dinner plate template – if you have a paper plate you could use, even better!

Read ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ or ‘Oliver’s Milkshake’. Find them here if you don’t have the books:

Talk about the ‘Oliver’ story that you read/watched on youtube yesterday. Can you make the milkshake or the fruit salad?

Make some food in the ‘My World Kitchen’. https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/games/my-world-kitchen-game?collection=games-you-may-have-missed

1.30-2.00pm Learning Time

Choose one of the activities from your pack/Project Passport to work on.
