Green Team 2026

We are super excited to introduce this year’s Green Team! This is actually the biggest Green Team Western House Academy has ever had, with 21 members joining us all the way from Reception to Year 6.

Here’s a look at what we’ll be up to this year:

• You’ll see us around school every day keeping things tidy by picking up litter, managing our recycling, and taking care of composting.

• We will be spending lots of time looking after our school garden area, as well as making regular trips up to the Cippenham allotment to grow some vegetables!

• When special events happen—like Cycle to School Week or Sustainability Day—we’ll be taking charge by designing posters and helping to prepare exciting assemblies for everyone.

We are ready to work hard and do our absolute best to make WHA as eco-friendly as possible.
