On the 24th of June, Year 6 invited members of the local community to discuss their professions and businesses in Slough. Parents, governors and visitors gathered into Western House Academy to inspire the next generation of children; children take their next steps in their educational journey and consider their future career paths.
These local people volunteered to create a stall with information, leaflets and interactive exercises for the children to read and take part in.

The children were very interested in listening to all participants and made valuable notes for their futures, considering different career paths and widening their interests and experiences.
