There are two language detectives in each class from Year 3 upwards. They are chosen each year, based upon their enthusiasm for language learning and progression. Their roles include classroom routine jobs, such as handing out and collecting in resources, but also being ambassadors for language learning, modelling good spoken French, being chosen to demonstrate how to play games and helping their peers to improve. If we were able to cross over year groups, the Language Detectives are also deployed to show their enthusiasm in younger year groups.
