Good afternoon,
I am writing to share my positive experiences with the courses I have attended so far, namely Sewing, Slow Cooking, and Macramé. Through these courses, I have benefited in numerous ways. The most significant benefit has been the opportunity to meet other parents. Given our busy schedules, we rarely get the chance to communicate when dropping off and picking up our children. These courses have provided a healthy and enjoyable environment for socialising while learning.
Additionally, all three courses were new to me, and I have developed valuable skills such as mastering tricky stitches and enhancing my creative problem-solving abilities.
I would highly recommend these courses to other parents and look forward to participating in new ones in the future.
Thank you for offering such enriching programs.

Good evening Mrs Snowden
I’d like to take a minute to thank your incredible nursery staff that have made xxxx and xxxx so comfortable that by Day 4 they were both skipping into nursery without a second look.
This is something we didn’t achieve after six months at their last nursery, hence our decision to move them to Western House.
To know my children feel happy and safe after such a short time is a relief and moving them to Western House was the best decision we have made for them. We are so overwhelmingly happy with how they have settled in, made friends and picked up the routine.
Your team is an absolute credit to the school – a small thing such as making the effort to learn who is who rather than referring to them as “the twins”, looking for distinguishing features and personality traits has made such an impact on us as parents, and on the girls coming home excitingly telling us they’ve been called the right name!
No more tears from xxxxx, xxxxx or Mummy!

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the invitation to attend the Values Award ceremony today. My daughter, xxxxxx in year 6, has only just begun her journey at your school in September 2024. To say she is thriving in her new environment is an understatement – today was testimony of that!
It was very emotional and touching to see her being valued and rewarded for the wonderful traits that she possesses and the fact that the fellow pupils and staff at WHA see this in her too.
It was also such a delight to see a head teacher who genuinely looked so full of pride and joy for each and every one of her pupils. From working in childcare myself, I know it takes a true love of your job to be able to give all your support and nurturing to you children you care for and Mrs Snowden radiates this.
We look forward to many more achievements and goals of accomplishment for xxxxx as she spends her final year with WHA.
Thank you to everyone for all the hard work and effort that goes into each and every day.

Hello
I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for two events: camping on the school grounds in year 5 and the residential trip to Woodrow House in year 6. My daughter absolutely loved both trips. The teachers and the staff were just incredible. I can't thank them enough.
I was rather worried about the camping, because it was cold and rainy. But the teachers organised fantastic games in the hall. The children went outside when the rain stopped. They had a talent show in the evening, which was a highlight of the day. The BBQ and hot chocolate in the evening were lovely. They were obviously too excited to sleep at night, but they felt secure. The teachers were around all the time. In the morning, both the head teacher and vice principal came early to serve the children breakfast. Apparently the best toasts my daughter has ever had! Then they went to the classroom for lessons. The children were allowed to finish that day earlier. My daughter wasn't cold or wet or hungry or scared. She enjoyed the whole experience so much.
The residential trip to Woodrow House was another wonderful and well-organised event. The activities were fun, interesting and challenging. They had a campfire with funny games and lots of giggles. The food was amazing and there was a good selection. My daughter loved being able to share the bedroom with all her friends. And the tuck shop was an absolute hit! One of the teachers was offering hugs before bedtime, which I also think was extremely kind!
I am very grateful for the commitment and dedication of everyone involved in ensuring that these events were so successful.

We just wanted to say a heartfelt and warm thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of our children and giving them the best ever memories that will last a lifetime.
They have been truly spoilt and are such lucky boys to have been given this opportunity and we as parents cannot thank you enough for making this happen.
They came back this evening so excited and exhausted, all rolled into one and sharing all the wonderful things they had done.
We also wanted to thank you for the constant updates whilst out there and the pictures we received. It felt like we were with them on the trip and definitely put our minds at ease.
Hopefully you will catch up on some sleep and have a well-deserved rest.
Our sincere thanks again for giving the boys an experience they’ll never forget.

Good morning Mrs Snowden & Mrs Elliot
I am sure you will be getting lots of messages, but I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the wonderful trip that XXXX has come back from. He was telling us lots about his adventures and what his favourite part was on the way home last night. At 7.30am he is still asleep which never happens.
He was a little anxious about going to start and the closer it got he got a bit more worried, but he had such a great time.
The updates via the Whatsapp group and photos were very much appreciated, especially seeing all the smiling faces.
Please pass my thanks to all the adults that attended and I do hope that you all managed to enjoy yourselves as well. Roll on the weekend for a much deserved drink and rest.
I hope this is the start to lots more trips to Paris for you. I have to admit my two older kids, if you can call them that now, were very jealous when they heard their little brother was off to Paris as they went to Dorset in Year 5 :-)
Thank you again

Good afternoon
I just wanted to drop a quick line to say how wonderful your school and staff are. My son has recently started reception and he absolutely loves it.
Miss Callaghan is amazing, and my son looks forward to going to school every day. He actually cries on the weekend when he realises it is not a school day. It is a joy to see how well he has settled in. Even the staff in the playground always greet you with a smile and a small conversation if time permits.
I also wanted to say a special thanks to Mr Overton, who is absolutely brilliant.
Having two older children (who went to different primary schools and are now in secondary school), I can really see the difference in how your staff interact with the children and the positive atmosphere they surround the children with.
It really makes me feel as a parent that my child is happy at school, which will only help him excel and succeed in life. I really do feel that you as a school are a family and that my child is part of that family.
Thank you.
