Down on the Farm: A Year-Round Learning Adventure

The trip to Odds Farm is a much-loved staple of our school calendar, offering a fantastic, hands-on opportunity that transcends the classroom walls. Every visit is an "udderly fantastic" day of discovery, deepening our students' understanding of the world around them.

The day is always packed with exciting, interactive workshops. The children love getting hands-on with the realities of farm life, often including a session on cow milking where they learn about different breeds and the fascinating process of milk production. They also enjoy feeding the pigs and learning about various swine breeds. During the informative goat talk, our students consistently demonstrate their keen curiosity by asking insightful questions.

A major highlight is the farm tour, where students meet the adorable farm residents up close, followed by the sheer fun of a thrilling tractor ride. We are consistently proud of how our students behave, always being respectful and attentive throughout the day. The Odds Farm experience is a truly memorable and educational adventure that reinforces lessons in life cycles, food sources, and responsible citizenship for every class that attends.
